Easter Fun!

I LOVE Easter...It's a time of family and lots of fun. Kinda like Christmas, just smaller. We (I) decided to decorate eggs with Linc. Luke was not very thrilled with the idea, but I didn't really give him a choice. In the end he had a really fun time. Linc on the other hand was a mess. He would grab the unboiled eggs and THROW them in the dye splashing it EVERYWHERE. Thankgoodness no eggs broke. Although it was kinda crazy we will do it again next year...Linc had a blast.

I also wanted to do a little Easter Egg hunt for Linc at our house. He had so much fun! He kept screaming WOOW!! It was so funny the watch him.

On Saturday we went to Luke's parents house for the annual Easter egg hunt. Linc and Ledg are the only grand kids on Luke's side so the hunt was for us too. They always hide money in some of the eggs so as soon as we got the go-ahead Luke and I went running outside looking for eggs leaving Linc to tag-along with Nan and Ky...we are such good parents...Oops! The girls are such good sports. This year we went to church with our parents. It's easy to do that when both Luke and my parents live in the same ward. I think we should make that a tradition. It was a little crazy getting both kids ready and to Shelley by 9:00 but we made it. After that we had a quick dinner with Luke's family and then went on to my parents house to eat...yes again. Every holiday we eat huge meals at both houses. Needless to say we don't eat much the rest of the week! We played toss the egg, had a hunt for the grandkids and played a few more games. It was such a fun day. Linc came home with the equalvelent of seven bags of candy...gross. This morning I awoke to Linc bringing me candy in bed...who needs breakfast right??

Bowling Night!!

So we decided to let Lincoln try a new adventure...bowling. I thought it would be kinda crazy what with a 2 year old and a bowling ball but it was actually fun and Lincoln had a blast. Half the time was spent hurding Lincoln off the floor when it was someone elses turn...he thought it was his turn everytime and was jumping up and down almost the whole night! Sorry the first pic is kinda blurry... he wouldn't hold still, he was too excited!

Heres a few super cute pictures of Ledger...he's finally starting to smile all the time. We love it!

Lincoln and Ledger's New Rooms...

Ok so some of you have been asking for pictures or Linc's and Ledge's room...here they are! Licoln loves his new room, we had to make it as fun as possible so he would stay in there at night! He is in there all the time but thinks that airplanes are called trains..Ha ha. It was alot of fun putting it together and Luke and his sister and brother-in-law did a great job painting the walls. I can't take credit for the ariplane on the wall though..my wonderful mom did it. She's so full of great ideas.

Ledger's room isn't anything special...it's just Lincoln's old room but I had Ledger's name done to go on the wall... it's a fun sports room for him.
Life is crazy but good... I find myself struggling to get things done each day with two...I'm never ready to leave the house by one each day but I'm sure it will get better, at least I hope so!!

Ledger's Special Day

On Sunday, little Ledger was blessed. His daddy gave him such an amazing blessing. It was such a great day filled with lots of family and friends. He was so adorable in his white suit and Lincoln looked just as cute in his suit. He looked like a missionary. Lincoln's Go-Go asked him where he wantes so go on a mission and he said,"Umm, Taco Bell." Nice Lincoln, Nice... Here are just a fewpictures of our awesome day.

Fun-Filled Weekend

Wow, we had a crazy yet very fun weekend filled with basketball games, swimming, arcade games, shopping, and lots and lots of laughter. It started Thursday when we headed over to Boise to watch Kylee's team basketball play. Their team ripped it up and took state. Lincoln had such a fun time watching her play, even though he was mostly watching the cheerleaders and mimicking their every move...yikes. He yelled,"GO BEES!" the whole game and even had a matching shirt to go with his enthusiasm...yes his mom made it. I know-I'm a little overboard. Lincoln's other two aunts, Savannah and Chelsie and his uncle Shawn made it over as well. He had so much fun with them and has been asking about them ever since. Here are some fun pictures of the weekend. Yes, I know I have another child but he's not in any of the pictures I took...oops! :)

Saturday we had to leave Boise early and missed Kylee's Championship game, but it was all for a good cause. We celebrated his Papa's 50th birthday by throwing him a surprise party. It was such a fun night full of cake, presents, friends and family and lots of funny stories about my dad. Happy birthday to such an awesome Father and Papa. We love you!

Now we are home and it'll take me all week to get the laundry done and unpack...yes I took my whole house with us to Boise. Wish me luck!

Pictures of Lincoln and Ledger

Here are just a few pictures of Lincoln and Ledger. MariAnne Frost took them..she did such a good job! We love her! Lincoln had a little too much fun at this photo shoot and squeezed his brother a little too tightly in some of the pics but we still got some good ones...

Making up for lost time....

Ok so I'm going to back track a little bit since I missed alot of fun things that happened last month. Lincoln turned 2 December 20 and we had the funiest birthday party for him at Idaho Falls Gymnastics. He had all of his cousins there and a few of his closest friends. It was blast except for a little Sponge Bob episode which you will know what I'm talking about if you were there. It was a great day.

Next was Christmas... It was so much fun this year with Lincoln. He still didn't really know what was going on but he didn't complain cause he got spoiled!! A few of you have asked about a special gift that he got from his Go-Go Jill... For those of you who don't know the story, his grandma Jill is a dance teacher and decided to give him a baton for Christmas- mostly a joke on his daddy. Well, that was the first present he wanted to open and it just so happened that Luke was the one helping him open it. Well, I'll let this picture do the talking on how much he liked it....

Needless to say he loved it and his daddy was not thrilled with the present to say the least. Who knows Dad, maybe he'll make millions being the youngest baton-ist!
